we have 1 prior album, it reached number 7 in the UK. It was released by EMI. The label folded. We made the 2nd album ourselves. We just finished (Jan '10). It's really good. We are currently unsigned.

Bio
We released a debut album with EMI in the UK. It reached number 7 and sold 90,000. I got an Ivor Novello for songwriting. Personally I thought it was an average album but it was well received. Our label EMI folded and we decided to cut our losses and make the 2nd album under our own steam. We just finished (Jan'10). It's really good. We are currently unsigned. Main influences would be classic songwriting structures such as Cole Porter, Johnny Cash, Nina Simone and such like but in a modern context. Bands we like currently include The National, Yo La Tengo, Wilco, The Smiths, TV on the Radio.etc.
