Bio
A free spirit with boundless zest for life, Cheryl Edgett has been singing, writing, playing, dancing, painting and acting since childhood. Over the years Cheryl has lent her singing and writing talents to a wealth of performers, including co-writes with noted songwriters Doug Mallory and Rick Edgett. Cheryl has performed on stages from Casino Nova Scotia and Halifax..s Rebecca Cohn Auditorium to 10,000 seat sold out concerts in Asia. Cheryl Edgett has shared the stage with a variety of wonderful, well-heeled artists including Lorraine Segato (Parachute Club), Charlie A..Court, Gordie Sampson, Frank McKay and the Lincolns, Doris Mason, Cathy Porter, Pam Marsh, The Metric System, Lisa MacDougall, Delbert McClinton, Myles Goodwin (April Wine), Bill Henderson, Ron Hynes, and numerous others. In 2004 Cheryl Edgett debuted fourteen songs, accompanied by Silvio Pupo, jazz pianist extraordinaire, for a packed house in hometown Halifax, N.S. From the moment she stepped on stage, Cheryl owned the ears and hearts of everyone in the room. Her all original songs and mesmerizing vocal performance met with wild applause from the standing room only crowd. Cheryl captivates her audience with her beauty, style and amazing, soulful voice. Mother of seven, actress, painter, singer-songwriter and all around accomplished performer, Cheryls passion for life is ever present, her exuberance electric and her talent knows no bounds.
