Bio
CHESCA is a self-driven, multi-skilled, highly creative
musician who has been writing songs since picking up
the guitar in 6th grade. She was born in Manila, raised in
Hong Kong and Taipei and graduated from the prestigious
Berklee College of Music ’09 in Boston. She now resides
in Vancouver where she recently released her latest
6-song, track-titled EP, “RISK IT” last April 8, 2011.
“RISK IT” is a collection of songs consisting of a little bit of
everything… courage, acceptance, liberty, individuality,
desire and heartbreak – wrapped in a variety of genres
including pop rock, modern rock, alternative, indie and
grunge. “RISK IT” includes contemporary full band
arrangements of the following 3 song-favorites from her past
acoustic EPs; “Risk It,” “Fakin’ Me Out,” and “Learn to Love.”
All tracks featured on “RISK IT” were entirely written and
arranged by CHESCA, produced by notable music producer
Jeff Dawson (Marcy Playground, Kelly Rowland), mixed by
legendary rock mixing engineer Mike Fraser (AC/DC, Aerosmith)
and mastered by Grammy-Award winning mastering engineer
Adam Ayan (Foo Fighters, Carrie Underwood).
“RISK IT” is now available digitally worldwide
through iTunes and 15+ other online music stores.
