The band | is a Montreal based quartet formed in mid 2013 by Geneviève Cooke, Elie Flynn, Ariel Harrod and PierreLavoie.

The music | is blues inflected folk music with a soulful twist.

The songs | From a British father and an American Jewish mother, living in the heart of Quebec, Ariel fuels his pen with old world heritage, Americanism, and the urge to define his personal and cultural singularity. That, and having fun. 

The recording | is the band’s maiden committal of their music to tape. Recorded “off the floor” on January 28th and 29th 2014 at Studio Home Sweet Home, it captures the band’s raw energy without artifice. A labor of love made for the sole purpose of getting it out there.

La musique | est folk, teintée de blues et de soul.

Les chansons | Né au Québec d’un père britannique et d’une mère juive américaine, Ariel nourrit sa plume de l’héritage du vieux monde, d’américanité et d’un besoin de définir sa singularité personnelle et culturelle. Ça, et s’amuser. 

L’enregistrement | est le premier du groupe. Enregistré en performance collective les 28 et 29 janvier 2014 au Studio Home Sweet Home, il rend l’énergie brut et sans artifice du groupe. Fait avec passion pour but de partager avec le plus grand nombre.
