Bio
Born and raised in the Bay Area, the artist known as Chev has been in love with music his entire life. Growing up listening to everything from Journey to Marvin Gaye, he was bitten by the bug early on. Since childhood Chev has always been heavily involved in music in some way shape or form.
After discovering a love for hip hop at a young age Chev began mixing records and writing his own music. What started in the basement as an after school activity quickly became a full time passion.
Featured on such albums as the "707 Compilation" which was produced and released in early 2000 by Johnny Z, the man behind the multi platinum selling single "Back 2 The Hotel"
Discovering Chev's musical talent while getting his windows tinted at a local body shop, Bay Area legend Celly Cel was intrigued and anxious to get involved as well. Teaming up with Jay Tee from the mega group N2Deep, Chev and Celly came together on the smash hit "Seniorita". A track from his 2004 release "It'z Real Out Here"
With lyrics stemming from personal life experiences accompanied with a smooth delivery of witty rhymes, Chev is on deck to take the world by storm and bring the fun back to hip hop music. Be on the lookout for his debut release "CONCRETE" slated for Summer 09'
