Bio

Cheyenne O'Dell comes from the small town of Lake Elizabeth in Southern California. Her childhood was filled with music from the word go. It was in that small California town that her love of music was born. She grew up being influenced by anything and everything, but it was her kinship with Patsy Cline that her love of country music began. “I loved Crazy the minute I heard it and knew right then that country music was home to me,” But the influences didn’t stop there; Cheyenne was equally inspired by Shania, Elvis, Garth, Bon Jovi, Reba & Patty Loveless. It is in these musical inflections that Cheyenne’s style was born. On songs like “Catch Me If You Can,” you’ll hear a little Bon Jovi and a little Shania, while on “Love’s Got a Hold on Me,” you’d think Patsy herself produced her!
Cheyenne is currently playing all over Southern California to promote her album, “Catch Me If You Can.” Crowds everywhere are being treated to her sincere style, her killer live show and her memorable hooks. “Songwriting is where it’s at for me. While I do cover songs that most everyone knows, I’m hoping that someday soon they will be singing MY songs!” In fact, one of the songs on her new album was co-written by her pal Tony Borowiak, one of the singers in the Grammy-Award winning group, All-4-One. As Tony notes, “Cheyenne is a rare talent—if you don’t go out to see her now, you’ll be paying to see her in the near future!
Cheyenne is no stranger to the stage; her music has opened up doors for her to play at Fairs and Festivals throughout California, The Lancaster Performing Arts Center, The Whiskey-A-Go-Go, The Rock Inn, Schooners and the Universal Bar & Grill, to name a few. Add to that the opening slots for Sara Evans, Chad Brock, Michael Peterson, the Warren Brothers and Big House. You can see why Cheyenne O’Dell is an artist worth watching. As her producer Stayce Roberts says, “It’s not everyday you get to work with such a talented, humble artist. Cheyenne has that ability to tell a story with her songs and it was a privilege to work with her.” Cheyenne O’Dell is an artist on the rise, so look out world, here she comes!
