Bio

Traveling the world at a young age and being in the presence of many Gospel and R&B greats, Chianti has been able to hone her craft. She has shared the stage with Bobby Jones, Marvin Sapp, Dorinda Clark–Cole, Edwin Hawkins, Tonex, Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child), Trinitee 5:7, the Manhattans, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, the Chi-lites, and McFadden and Whitehead.

At the age of 14, Chianti appeared on numerous nationally syndicated television shows. She was showcased on Black Entertainment Television’s (BET) Teen Summit; she also won Amateur Night at the World Renowned Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York at the age of 16. A year later, she signed a recording contract with Lil' Man/Interscope Records under the direction of Teddy Riley, formally of the group Guyand Blackstreet. During her tenure at Lil’Man/Interscope records, her background vocals were featured on “The Lord is Real” which appeared on Blackstreet’s third album “Another Level”.

In 2001, Chianti appeared on The Word Network where she was a featured artist on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show. This appearance opened up many doors and afforded her the opportunity to be the guest artist for two years at Gospel Flava’s International Urban Music Conference. She also appeared as a guest artist at Edwin and Walter Hawkins’ Music and Arts Love Fellowship Conference.

Her voice has been heard throughout South Georgia while performing a theme song for a syndicated radio show on the Light Radio Station. Her singles, “I Am” and “Your Mercy” has received local radio air play. Currently “Your Mercy” is a part of the Unified by Grace Soul Edition, a nationwide compilation CD, where a portion of the proceeds benefit patients of the Nuymbarie Clinic in West Ankole, Uganda.

Chianti is a well-rounded individual who is also dedicated to helping others in her community. She has volunteered and participated in several community activities held by the Food and Clothing Bank of South Georgia, Habitat for Humanity, the Boys and Girls Club of Lowndes County, and World Vision International. She has had the opportunity to share her gift at several healthcare awareness conventions held by Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Dudley Hair Care. She is also an active member of the Gospel Music Association (GMA). Currently, she is working on her long awaited debut album where she is writing and co-producing the project.

She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Albany State University and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management from Capella University.
