Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
Chihiro started improv theater when she was 15. Here she discovered making up lyrics on the spot in musical scenes was something that came quite natural. She advanced in composing and performing, but somehow singing got lost along the way.
During her study (University of Amsterdam, Media and Culture - Minor Music and cognition) she performed with the CREA jazz band and she programmed a monthly open mic. With the open mic she got to connect artist and started again performing herself.
Currently she's working on a musical environmental documentary. It is a road movie quest for learning from indigenous people in Bolivia to live in harmony with mother earth, and importing this know-how to the West (Netherlands). The story will be told with videoclips and different styles of music.
