Children of Production is an innovative derivative of Parliament/Funkadelic, home grown from the "dna of hip hop", funk. This musical compound sneakin' out from the labs of Dr. Funkenstein hale from all over the U.S. and from various strong and diverse musical backgrounds. C.O.P. has cultivated a sound that blends many musical genres much like the undiluted fusion of funk. Thru a foundation of hip-hop, the C.O. P. audience will always experience (atleast a taste of) jazz, blues, world, rock, gospel, classical, and funk. C.O.P. can also be found supplying the musical backbone for Divadelick, headed up by Sativa Diva and Kendra Foster, a group with similar sonic dimensions. C.O.P. was born out of the countless late night recording sessions simulated in hotel rooms while its (now) members were touring the world with Parliament/Funkadelic. Children of Production are musical revolutionaries dedicated to producing quality, good music--whether profound or commercial--that's relatable to all mankind, attempting to increasingly make a difference even if as small as the listener's mood.
