chillbilly is a boiling river of music bubbling out of the basements, and the back streets of montreal. the music erupted some time ago from the union
of its four members and kept them all from going insane… the forthright sound of geoff prest’s guitar glows a bright red when punctuated by the drums of chris leroux. the brash rumbling of andrew sudlow’s bass bonds them in a trance and provides the tonal space for batch howard’s vocals. the result is a proud and bold sound – a.k.a rock and roll - that inspires life through all its ups and downs. they are an unlikely quartet yet they wouldn’t stand to play without each other. anyone who knows them will tell you that every ounce of fear, anger, joy and passion that they posess is
poured into their music, and they would most definitly agree. they know how to rock and oh, can they can get funky…
chillbilly is currently working on their fresh new album in a small shack they call the mink house in the eastern towships, outside of montreal. the album hits the streets in the summer of 2005.
