Bio
Tim is a pop music freak a la The Beatles, Hayim was born and raised in the Mideast and has a deep love of Arabian beats (and a closet full of rare instruments to boot) as well as the latest software synths, and Kerry is from Venus - he owns more music than you've ever heard, he builds his own guitar stompboxes, and his influences aren't even necessarily from the world of music. All three are also well-versed in each other's musical styles, so it's not like a three-headed monster that argues with itself al the time.
"On their second album, "JuJu", they were joined by Noam Sender on ney, zurna, ancient acoustic percussion as well as and improvised vocals. Noam adds "World" to Chillgroove's music with his unique, imaginative and
inspired sound. Additionally, Glenn Williams has been graciously lending Chillgroove his skills on bass, guitar, synths, and harmonies, turning
Chillgroove into a potent multimedia quintet of world / electronic / ambient
/ acoustic music. They're also into visuals; every show uses stunning video
projections which are synchronized to the music."
