Bio
CLJP started as a result of a group of jazz cats hungry to do more of what they love, which is Afro-Cuban music. Influences include Poncho Sanchez, Tito Puente, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Chucho Valdes, Ruben Gonzalez, and Nachito Herrera. Our signature sound is unique due to our international make-up. While we share a common love of Afro-Cuban vibes, our combined musicianship and influences spans 4 continents. Nationalities represented include Chinese, Cuban, Venezuelan, Mexican, American, and French.
