“CHIP HAWKES CLASS OF ‘64”

Featuring Legends Of The 60’s:
CHIP HAWKES, MICK AVORY & ERIC HAYDOCK
The Tremeloes - The Kinks - The Hollies

With special guests: Graham Pollock & “Telecaster” Ted Tomlin.

The Birth of British Beat

Out of this menagerie of rock and roll, several bands achieved global recognition and conquered time itself.

The classic songs recorded by “The Kinks”, “The Hollies” and “The Tremeloes” are still recognised today as tapestries of classic rock and roll music. Without doubt “The Kinks”, “The Hollies” and “The Tremeloes” carved their mark on the face of rock and roll.

That was then, this is now

Three of the original members have united to perform an anthologistic concert highlighting their amazing careers to date. Chip Hawkes, the dynamic voice and songwriter of The Tremeloes, Mick Avory, the drummer of the original Kinks & Eric Haydock, the original bass player and founder member of the Hollies have embarked on an amazing voyage of rock and roll.

They started their journey in April ’04 as special guests on the 40th anniversary tour of The Animals performing at over 70 major British theatre venues. Tours are now being set up in different parts North America.

The band performs a dynamic set of some of the greatest 60’s music that Hawkes, Avory & Haydock personally created, and are coming off stage to genuine standing ovations at every show.

A delightful breath of fresh air for all 60’s music lovers. At last, and not before time, there is a credible international sixties super group.

The band has been touring for over 3 years now and has completed over 500 gigs.

This is probably the most credible and original 60’s band on the circuit. When you think of all their combined hits including: Silence is Golden - The Air That I Breathe - You Really Got Me, the reaction from audiences all over the world speaks for itself.
