Chippie B.

Born as "Patrick L. Henry Jr"., on Oct. 1 1986, Chippie B. was raised on the beautiful island of St. Croix. With a vision fueled by dreams of success, he left St. Croix on Oct 18, 2005 in search of that "vision." During his time in the U.S.A. he was worlked multiple odd jobs; each one making him realize there is more out there than repetitive "9-5's." During his periods where he would walk to and from work he would catch himself singing melodies, but never thought of himself as a singer. His self realization and love for music was sprung to life when he bought a Mac Book Pro. Instantly he began recording tracks in Garageband/Logic; researching all he could about recording and mixing. From there he bought spme more equipment over time which includes some Yamaha H50's, an Apogee Duet, a Sterling Audio Condenser mic, and some accessories to accomadate such devices. "Recording is defintely a serious passion of mine and is equivlent to my love of the music." says Chippie B. when asked about his music. You know some people say they like music, and Chippie was one of them. But then it came to a metamorphic point when he realized that he loved the craft of making music. Accordind to him it relieves stress, makes dull days so exicting, and constantly inspires him to continue with his craft. "Music is hands-down a Gift from above and should be treated as such." Chippie B. was supposed to attend SAE institute in Nov. 2008, but funds were low on his end, but the grind never stopped. He is currently in Greensboro, North Carolina mixing demos for local artist and doing collabo's. He also produces his own tracks and is niching himself into the Genre of Caribbean Pop. "Its unexpected, exciting, and new to the ears of the relaxed world. I'm bout putting out music that expresses the feeling of the average guy, with a techno-ish twist..lol.." says Chippie B. when someone ask what genre his music is.
