Chizel is a Baton Rouge based alternative rock band. With performances that include covers and original music, Chizel has built a reputation as a professional and impressive live act. Chizel has been touring the south since July 2002. Chizel includes Scott Parker - lead vocals, Russ Seal - lead guitar & vocals, Chuck Smith - bass & vocals, and Joshua Foster - drums & vocals. Chizel has sold over 400 Demo CD's since its release in May 2004. The band is well known for having sold hundreds of shirts and other Chizel apparel, and its fans tradition of wearing them to all of the shows. Chizel's Demo CD has been met with positive feeback and has received airplay on several rock radio stations in the south. A full length album, along with a DVD is scheduled to be released in 2005. Chizel has shared the stage with national recording artist L.A. Guns, Addler's Appetite (featuring Steven Addler original drummer of Guns & Roses) and many other local bands such as Liquid Sand, Anisette, Insanetuary, Lowerline, Stomping Ground, Downfall, Left Hook, Dead Tree, Ratt Poison, The Dirty Truth, Verity, Maven.
