Bio

Chloe Smith was born in Okinawa, Japan. A certified military brat, she has traveled the globe soaking up the cultures of the continents. She began singing at the age of 4. This 16-year old singer is definitely on the rise. Pairing powerful vocals with a tremendous stage presence makes this artist one rare commodity. Changing the rules to the game is what Chloe’ as a teen-age role models is all about. Her goal is to bring a new color and spark to the story of adolescence and the situations they deal with on a daily basis by writing her own lyrics. Her message is an unspoken contract of truth and is delivered with urgent grace. Finding her audience by approaching music with a fresh, honest exuberance, she can strike you one moment with confidence and clarity, and then charm you the next with the innocence of youth. Similarly, her songs cover a wide range of emotions and young experiences.

Chloe’ has appeared in many TV commercials, Ludacris' "Runaway Love" music video, Off Broadway’s “Annie” and "Once on this Island". She co-starred on HBO’s “Six Feet Under.” Chloe’ was cast (only kid) at the age of 11 in CBS’s African American Showcase, highlighting up and coming new talent, hosted by Shemar Moore, star of “Diary of a Mad Black Woman.” Chloe’, the embodiment of a triple threat has already conquered Broadway at the young age of 12, playing the role of Little Inez in the 8-Tony Award Winning Musical “Hairspray”. While performing on Broadway she got to work along side some of her idols such as; Darlene Love, who’s been an integral part of the music scene for more than four decades; Tevin Campbell, who gained fame as an R & B singer at age 13; and Diana DeGarmo, who shot to fame as a runner-up on American Idol.

Recently she appeared in Jason's Alexander "The Donnie Clay Show. “Music is my foundation,” remarks fifteen-year old Chloe’ Smith. She was delighted to have been cast amongst 1,200 plus hopefuls, in the teenage cast of Jason Robert Brown’s musical “13,” enjoying a 8 month world premiere run in Los Angeles at the prestigious Mark Taper Forum. “I feel most alive in music,” enthuses Chloe’. I love making a difference through example. Blessing the stage with a presence that is beyond spectacular, Chloe’ is sure to grab your attention and hold your interest.
