Chontia & The New Colours
This vibrant three piece, acoustic rockin soul band,
will have you on the dance floor as if you were part of a moving parade.
This lively band engage listeners of all ages and backgrounds, with their pallete
of colourful songs and the prominate vocals of Chontia.
Lyric based listeners enjoy the journey the songwriting skills of the band.
whilst others enjoy the celebration of body movement, to the upbeat
driven sound of the rhythm section.
The music simply moves your feet and touches your heart.
Chontia & The New Colours have enjoyed success with recent sell out shows at
The Basement - Circular Quay and The Old Many Boat Shed.
The band has also played main stage at several community festival and are booked to play
many more over the next year. A dynamic and varying line-up at its core made up
and fronted by Chontia, Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica, A.K, Drums,
and Darryl Balks Bass/Guitar. Although decades of experience are amassed between
those gathered they are still delivering a fresh and truly unique listening experience.
