C-horse is a retro-pop/rock band from Los Angeles, Ca. Influenced by music from the 60s and 70s, C-horse lace intricate vocal harmonies over garage rock instrumentation. Audiences continually respond to C-horse' positive, empowering pop, a reprieve from the moody, measure indie music of today.

Biography

Songwriter Cecilia Enriquez formed C-horse in 2007 as an avenue for her original pop songs. A demo of the first C-horse songs was circulated among a close-knit group of Los Angeles musicians, and Enriquez' accessible songwriting style, influenced by 60s and 70s rock and pop, quickly attracted local support. Enriquez went on to record her self-titled debut record, produced by Joel Morales of the band Dios. This album, laced with intricate vocal harmonies and packed with a powerful pop sensibility, was well-received by friends and fans alike.

C-horse has evolved into a solid unit, with the help of some of Enriquez' musical friends: bassist Lindsay Mancha, drummer Courtney Olsen, and keyboardist Mack Marquard. As new material flourishes, the band continues to play shows throughout the Los Angeles area and plans to record the second C-horse album this year.

Tounges

Written By: Cecelia Enriquez

VERSE:
I must stay away,
keeping what I say
ready for a change,
everything's gone strange,
its obvious..

VERSE:
I'm so far away,
no one relates,
ready for a change,
everything's gone strange,
its obvious..
Every morning waiting for a sign…

CHORUS:
Speaking in tongues, I must of stepped in the twilight zone
Things that I like, suddenly don't have the same effect
But I'm so far away, everything's gone strange its obvious…
Every morning waiting for a…

VERSE:
The fog of drinking blows,
Partying's getting old,
I must let it go,
ready for a change,
It's obvious…
Every morning waiting for a sign…

CHORUS:
Speaking in tongues, I must of stepped in the twilight zone
Things that I like, suddenly don't have the same effect
But I'm so far away, everything's gone strange its obvious…

Enough

Written By: Cecelia Enriquez

Where you are, I have been
on the verge of change,
Settle down, no ones asking you,
No one's making you…

Chorus

Enough enough enough enough enough…

This is why I'm hoping you'll be gone…

This is why I'm hoping you'll be far…

out of my head,
out of my thoughts,
out of my life,

out of my sight,
out of my touch,
out of my phone,

Don't be needy, don't be crazy,
Keep it all to yourself,
Don't need cuddles, don't need comforting,
You know how to be strong,

Chorus

Settle down, no ones asking,
no one's making you,

Chorus

What

Written By: Cecelia Enriquez

I want more to give,
i want more to give...

That wasn't anything, wasn't anything...

I want more to live, I want more to live…

It wasn't anything, wasn't anything…

See it

it it it it it it

well that wasn't

what what what what what

What? Enough!

Na na na na na na na
na na na na na na na

Repeat

I ve got anything, I've got anything…

Well i want more to give, I want more to give…

You want everything, you want everything…

You've got more to live, you've got more to live…

Beds

Written By: Cecelia Enriquez

Stop the television
put your life together
turn the radio off
all these imitation people
laugh together
turn the radio off

Chorus

No, we couldn't be happier

in our own beds

No we couldn't be happier

in our air conditioned rooms….

Stop the television
put your life together
turn the radio off
all these imitation people
laugh together
turn the radio off...

Chorus

Stop the television
put your life together
turn the radio off
all these imitation people
laugh together
turn the radio off…
