Chosen

Chosen is a Christian Rock Band based out of the Lansing area. The band consists of Mike Douglas, Eric Thurston and Brandon Thurston. We have been together for almost 2 years now and are excited tthat we have released our first CD as well as our new EP.

Chosen was formed out of the vision of Eric to reach out to youth with a message of life and love through music. He and Brandon grew up in a Southern Gospel family band, while Mike is the worship leader at Mount Hope Church Williamston. When the three came together, there was an instant cohesion and synnergy.

We believe that music is a powerful tool. Our goal is to go after God everytime we play, whether in the basement playing with a CD or in front of 10,000 people. We know that God is still the same and His power is just as real in the quiet times as He is in a revival service.

We want to bring a love worth dying for, a faith worth having and a dream worth chasing, to a young and desperate generation. If we just sit around and wait for God to happen in our lives, it won’t happen. He has designed us to reach out to Him. God we will answer the call, do our part and walk the walk.

Our prayer is that we can help in some way to take you to a deeper level with a passionate and loving God. If it's your first day ever thinking about God or you've been saturated in it your whole life... there is a deeper level.
