Bio
Chotto Ghetto is a progressive hardcore band who assembled in Los Angeles in 2005. Since the band’s first show with punk vets Mike Park and Kevin Seconds, they have toured consistently on the West Coast with punk and indie acts, and toured the East Coast and Midwest twice with friends Bomb the Music Industry!
The band, made up of Chris Candy, Jody Giachello, Fletcher Alliston, and Chris Shilakes, released their most recent split EP with LA pals Stab City entitled, “Simpler Times,” on Quote Unquote records on October 20, 2009. This followed two other EPs released on Quote Unquote, 2007’s “Rampage” and 2009’s “Walk is Godlike.” All are available for free download at Quote Unquote’s website: http://www.quoteunquoterecords.com
2010 holds a slew of new Chotto Ghetto releases, including a 90-minute concept album entitled “Monstrosity” (summer release), and the band’s first official full-length record (fall release), all to be followed by a full US tour in fall 2010.
