Solo artist and bandleader, Chris Bell is a highly compelling singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer, and teacher with roots planted in the fertile soil of American roots music!  Without compromising the authentic grit of the storytelling and soulful integrity of his North Carolina mom and New York City dad, he draws equal measures from traditional and contemporary Blues, Country, and Rock. Born in the District of Columbia, raised in New England, and now based in Central Pennsylvania, Chris is an American roots artist who spent most of his professional career in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. His band has played hundreds of shows from coast to coast, including Nashville.  And he has opened for countless national acts, from legend Leon Russell, country star Dustin Lynch, and rocker Pat Travers to blues greats Robert Lockwood, Coco Montoya, Jonny Lang, Guitar Shorty, and Ronnie Baker Brooks.  Chris has also produced 7 CDs and 2 DVDs. Now Bell plays the role of Stevie Ray Vaughan in "Tightrope: Ultimate Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute Band showing his early influences of seeing the great Texas guitar legend SRV many times live in concert through the 80's!
