"Graham Central Station Nightclub"

"Make it Drop," one of the hottest tracks played in my rotation. Great crowd response, with many requests! Sounds like anything on the radio already being played. Can't wait to see and hear him live in concert at our nightclub!!!! - DJ Michael Collins

"Ichiban Music"

James, Thank you for the opportunity to review your music by Chris Benson.

I think Chris has a very good voice, can adopt well, between the different tracks. The production of both tracks is also very good, the clarity is outstanding. I think Chris is ready for the big time, excellent work.

Make it Drop - is a great club song and would like to have an encoded MP3 version that I can send to some DJ's friends, although the track contains some offensive language the song itself is not offensive, breaking you away from the normal rap and hip hoppers. This is the difference you need to have and I think this is some of what Chris has.

I'm That Man - is an excellent track, ready radio and definitely has the potential to give the current radio bands a run. This is a tune that will reach the young and old alike, giving Chris a broad audience to target, which is a good thing. Again the lyrics are good, clear and not offensive, giving Chris the separation he needs from the norm or the rest of the Indies' out their trying to make it.

Great job, looking forward to listening to more of Chris's music and special talent.

Good luck

Having listened to Chris' music, "gives him the right time to come out, the industry needs a fresh face to R&B" - Samatha Najera (program director)

"Dubai Music"

"When I first heard the music I was overwhelmed with the production and way he sounded. However, when I had the opportunity to see him perform live in concert at one of his shows, he owned the stage as if he was already a huge superstar. My country will welcome him..."DUBAI, HERE COMES CHRIS BENSON...GET READY!!!" - Hassann

"KXXM Mix 96.1 (Clear Channel)"

Here in San Antonio, i hear a lot of local talent, however Chris stands above others. His songs along with the way he entertains when he hits the stage gives me the hint that he will be another star from Texas and make San Antonio proud. I would recommend chris to anyone's playlist, be the first to add him to your rotation, don't be the last! - JoJo (Morning show producer)

"KSME 96.1 KISS FM"

"Chris Benson is a breath of fresh air in a market saturated with watered down R&B. Chris has a true voice for R&B and shows the necessary versatility to pull off a dance track, as well as a great ballad. Get ready world, Chris Benson is for real!" - Ryan Kramer (Midday Host)

Bio

A native of San Antonio, Texas, Chris Benson, at childhood started his endeavor for singing at the age of six while growing up listening to urban music. He has been under many influences such as Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston and Marvin Gaye. However, Chris didn’t limit himself to any specific genre of music, he opened his ears to anything that sounded good. At the age of sixteen, he set his goals in sight of becoming a recording artist and by his senior year in high school, he became more involved in building his craft by entering local contests, talent shows and more public appearances. He’s been pursuing his vision in a city that has been limited to the recognition of urban market or background. However, he’s appearing in numerous nightclubs, exclusive radio performances, showcases and charity events bringing him radio adds and exposure throughout Texas and other parts of the United States including internationally.

His first single, “Make it Drop” definitely has today’s club feel that will hook the audience as soon as the first beat is heard. The theme of the song is to drive the crowd to the floor and keep the head nodding. The song also features Headcrack, radio personality of 97.9 The Beat in Dallas, Texas bringing a flavor keeping the track moving. While maintaining the momentum, his mood slows down with his next track, “I’m that Man,” which shows the other side of his reflection. The song details a man’s willingness to reveal his wrong that he’s done while being committed to his loved one. The track has that feel of today’s sound but has an edge of hip hop mixed with R&B making the track his own.

Truly, when his talent, combined with his diligence and enthusiasm, are all combined, it can be well said that Chris Benson’s impact will be felt and his presence will set him apart. Get to know him!
