Biography

"One of the most under-rated songwriters in the city" - Clinton Charlton

Chris Braydon is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Saint John, New Brunswick. Chris was the front-man and brains behind the art -rock group, Something French. Chris' music can be described as quirky and catchy. With wordy heart - breakers and rockers, often sung with odd-ball phrasing, he sings about movie stars; hacks ; daydreams; drug busts; greyhound buses; modern cities; drunkenness and mortality, all with sincerity and humility. More often than not, Chris now performs his material in a solo setting but, is just as often joined by one of his many musical friends. Chris also contributes his guitar-skills to songwriters Clinton Charlton and Jessica Rhaye and is a member the Saint John septet Penny Blacks.
