Bio

This journey began many years ago in a small town church just outside of Haileybury, Ontario. Young Chris Brinklow stood bravely along the side of his father and sang his heart out as his dad played his Pan guitar. The song was called: Germs, My Invisible Dog. Chris was performing. His young ambition to entertain began on that small church stage.
Chris became self - taught as a teenager with the same guitar his dad used those many years ago. He started writing from his heart. As a strong Christian at the time, most of his songs were God based and focused around his struggles as a Christian. As the years wore on, Chris' songs took on a different surface. He started to experience this enigma called love. He started to write about love won and love lost: the hurt, the pain, the joys, the tears-- every emotion that love brought to his table.
Now, Chris Brinklow has evolved into a very open minded singer and song-writer. His songs reach towards social issues and many of life’s battles that we face daily.
His influences and inspirations range from his youth, to new artists that he meets and discovers to this day: Michael W Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman and DC Talk to Simon Webbe, John Mayer and Saskatoon’s own Kim Fontaine. Chris tries to take from each artist what he can, yet be able to stay as his own individual and become his own being in the music industry.
Chris has been very fortunate to share the stage with such acts as Jay Hails, Matty Powell and Kim Fontaine. He's also currently in the works to set up performances with former Northern Pikes frontman, Jay Semko.

Here is what some recent fans have said about Chris’s show…

"Lovely harmonies... nice lyrical work"
Dennis McCurdy

"Chris Brinklow has great vocals and "I like you, but not that way" is the song that EVERYONE, myself included, seems to love."
Ricky Smith

"Chris Brinklow offers the fun sounds similar to older Barenaked Ladies albums with the energy of Moxy Fruvous... one hell of a talent"
Kenni Kaye
