I grew to love "Gospel music" after years of playing instruments for various churches. I learned that gospel music can be very traditional and has pushed many listeners away, In my own life it was important to be eccentric in my music, even though it has not been accepted in a traditional setting, But I have always believed that to attract non-traditional listeners,ie..(hip-hop, pop, blues, R&B, and more) Our music had to be designed to get inside of that listener to allow growth and change. This music definately exhibits many real-life expierences to attract those who are wanting a different perspective with a twist, while hearing the word of GOD in a more soultry context ,without the typical conditional value. Some listeners have lived through extraordinary circumstances that require a heart felt and deeper approach. The music that we create is for the soul and it's like food for the soul. I was influence by my difficult past and unfortunate circumstances, The "Gospel" was always real to me, the deliverance brought about change in me continuously, All the music made by Chrisco Productions will have a twist on it even if it is called "The Gospel".
