A country boy
The only way you would know it is because of my accent!Christopher,given the name Chrisco by a very close friend of my uncle who would occassionally keep me and my cousin's.I was born the third child of seven to a single parent.My mother worked hard to try and provide
for us with the help of her late mother (Reeda Lindsey).Grandma was my care-giver.Reda Mae Lindsey better known as Reet would have drum beats.This music came from the band she would have playing while she sold cold brew ,liquor, fish, brunswick stew to the attendees of the friday night special, you know ''boot legging''.It was then i became hooked on that beat. Man i would beat on anything, constantly kicked out class for beating on the desk,i just developed a love for it. My parents later found christianity,my Grandma then converted here home into a church,there i was introduced to the keyboard.But growing up i faced many obstacles,some proving to be rather challeging.My mother had a very unstable life,her marriage failed ,and after not ever knowing my father,the father figure i did have was then gone. This unstableness eventually lead to a plethera of uncertainty for me. I got banned from all schools in the state of Georgia,i began to drink at ayoung age,i totally consumed the street life,landing me in and out of juvenile and later in prison!That marked me for further harassment from the cops,being questioned for numerous things ,ranging from auto theft,to murder. But in the mist of it all ,God gave me the ability to focus on my music,he gave me the desire to want something inspite of all that i had gone through. Im trying to touch others through this music,hoping they dont make the same decisions,from the same challenges i had!
