Bio
Chris Bullard doesn't just sing country songs. He's lived them.
Chris was born and raised in the oil fields of Oklahoma where he started singing and playing guitar at age 7. He spent 10 years touring as a lead guitar player and playing with Texas Country artists such as Mark McKinney, Kevin Fowler, Stony Larue, Casey Donahew, and Maren Morris. The people, experiences, and life on the road fueled his passion telling his stories through songwriting.
Chris says, “I write about things I know: love, heart-break, and the freedom found at the bottom of the mess that life can bring. I want my songs to be a soundtrack for people to experience hope in knowing they are not alone.”
After moving to Nashville in 2012, Chris hit the streets singing at every honky-tonk and open mic he could find. His perseverance gave way to opportunities such as playing with Josh Thompson and releasing his first EP featuring Maren Morris in 2015. In September of 2016, Chris's hard work continues to pay off as he is opening for Sam Hunt and Jon Pardi playing lead guitar with Alyssa Micaela.
Chris’s sophomore album is scheduled to release in October 2016 alongside a 30-city release tour, where he will be opening for the band, “The Aledo.”
