Bio
Chriscinthia Blount is a native of Bronx, New York and graduated from Cornell University's School of Arts and Sciences. She is a gifted writer who likens a good song to a beautiful woman, a woman who has substance beyond the mask, the make-up, and red carpet couture.
As a poet and one studying to become a certified interpreter for the Deaf, she is ever mindful that the music should first reside in the lyric. For what of those who cannot hear? And what of those who cannot see? Chriscinthia is a firm believer that a good song should be able to stand alone, i.e., without a note being played, without the presence of a video vixen.
Chriscinthia can take a few words and, like a magician, stir a slumberous spirit. Her signature lies within her honest and eloquent lyricism. Ms. Blount currently resides in Hartford, Connecticut where she is attempting to publish a collection of poetry.
