Chris Crump

Wherever you may be, you won't be disappointed with Chris Crump's melodic voice and captivating music. He has been singing for as long as he can remember, growing up in a musical family. The Houston-based singer/songwriter has played before large audiences since he was ten. He and his younger brother, Jon, both learned what it means to be a performer from their parents who are both accomplished musicians/vocalists.

While most kids grew up playing sports, Chris grew up on the stage developing his singing voice and guitar-playing skills. His catchy lyrics and soulful playing connects with his audience and brings them into his story.

"I go where I'm needed, plus I just love to play," Chris says. With the help of his brother and two of his closest friends who make up his band, this blues/rock musician keeps winning over hearts with his humble yet eager personality, and it shows when he performs on stage.

Chris's melodic voice has won over thousands of listeners, including more than 15 judges from various record companies and a room filled with fellow musicians at Gospel Music Association's 2010 Immerse in Nashville where he was the winner of the vocal competition. The previous year he received second in the songwriting competition.

Chris, who has signed with McLaughlin Music Group International, has opened for many well-known performers, such as Jimmy Needham, Leeland and Michael English. His talents have also received positive coverage by Houston area news media, including the Houston Chronicle.
