New York City, New York, USA

Chris Duggan is a NYC four-man indie rock band. The sound is pure, hard-driving, rock-and-roll. In 2011 the band performed regularly at iconic NYC rock clubs such as Arlene's Grocery, Pianos and The National Underground. Presently, the band is recording album #4 set for release in Spring 2012.

Chris Duggan founded his band in 2007. He is 21 and a senior at New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, part of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

A resident of Greenwich Village, Chris very much enjoys life in this unique corner of the world and everything it has to offer, the evocative narrow allies, brick walls, cobblestone pavement; MacDougal, Bleecker, Mercer, Thompson and Sullivan Streets, Astor Place, Saint Mark's Place; the rich cultural heritage; creative people. Greenwich Village is the home, and former home, of great American musicians, composers, playwrights, writers, poets, actors and fine artists. Chris's favorite places for hanging out with friends include Cafe Gitane, Cafe Reggio, Washington Square Park, Cafe Orlin, Union Square and Central Park.

In the realm of music, Chris is a jack-of-all-trades. He plays guitar, bass guitar, drums, mandolin, ukulele, piano, trumpet, trombone, synthesizer, djembe, conga, claves, tambourine, maracas and is also his band's lead vocalist - coached by Don Lawrence.

The sole contributor to his first two albums "Answers" and "Beacon," he created all the music, arrangements, performances and special effects on multi-tracks. His third album, "Chris Duggan: Live at The Bitter End" was produced, recorded and mixed by Carl Glanville who won two Grammy Awards for the U2 album "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb." Chris is a songwriter and a member of The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and The Recording Academy. At age 17 he founded True North Records and Thousand Eyes Publishing. Follow Chris on Chris Duggan (RealChrisDuggan) NYC.
