Bio
CEP, (Chris Emery Project) formed in 2010 after a chance encounter between bassist Keith Demanche and Singer/Songwriter Chris Emery at a Manchester gig.
Chris has been touring over the past decade. He's played venues around the globe from London to L.A. Armed with just an acoustic guitar, Chris' "roots rock" style is dynamic, image rich and honest.
Jon Grumblatt, drums, and Demanche have been in various original bands together on and off for 15 years, including area favorite Porter - a heavy rock three piece. Grumblatt and Demanche have played on four albums together, toured throughout the Northeast and generally hate each other's guts by now - but in a brotherly kind of way.
CEP marks their first foray into the cover circuit, led by area performer Chris Emery. A set list full of both nostalgic favorites from the 90's and earlier mixed with the latest hits and crowd pleasers rouses any audience to movement while layering surprises into every set. From alt rock to classics to shake your ass favs, CEP makes the music come alive.
