I don't want to be alone.
I don't want to spend the whole night waiting by the phone.
And why must later not be soon?
Why must what we have go on suppressed by this cacoon?

I have no fear of flying
But it's fear that keeps me from trying

(Chorus)

Save me from this growing divide
So I can see you eye to eye
I'm falling in; can't you lift me up before I'm in too deep?
No, I don't wanna be stuck in the category

And I don't want to be a friend
I don't want to hold back something that can last to the very end.
Can you unlock the door to your heart?
It's what I've been waiting for.

This bond of ours must be ignited
Before it's too strong for me to fight it.

Save me from this growing divide
So I can see you eye to eye
I'm falling in; can't you lift me up before I'm in too deep?
No, I don't wanna be stuck in the category

Oh, but I am...

(Instrumental Interlude)

And I don't want to waste away
And watch something that is great fade with every passing day.

Save me from this growing divide
So I can see you eye to eye
I'm falling in; can't you lift me up before I'm in too deep?
No, I don't wanna be stuck in the category

Save me from this growing divide
So I can see you eye to eye
I'm falling in; can't you lift me up before I'm in too deep?
No, I don't wanna be stuck in the category
No, I don't wanna be stuck in the category

No, I don't wanna be...
No, I don't wanna be.
I'm stuck in the category and I don't wanna be.
No, I don't wanna be.
No, I don't wanna be.

How Does It Feel to Be the One

Written By: Chris Fazio

Mediator
Arbitrating view
Her heart's translator
Her life's creator, you.

You're her mother.
Know her like no other could.
Her heart she smothers.
Could you tell me, if you would?

(Chorus)

How does it feel to be the one to tuck her in at night?
And to hear her say she loves you just as you turn out the light?
And when you walk out of that door, how does it feel to know she's yours?
You do know I am best for her, but away from me she runs.
When it is all said and done, how does it feel to be the one?

How does it feel to be the one?

My mind is tired.
You keep the fire blazed.
You say that she'll change.
Just tell me one thing; I can't wait.

How does it feel to be the one to tuck her in at night?
And to hear her say she loves you just as you turn out the light?
And when you walk out of that door, how does it feel to know she's yours?
And you do know I'm what's best for her, but away from me she runs.
When it is all said and done,

Does she ever speak my name
When I'm out there getting ready to buy her time again?
Does she ever talk about me
As I read the cards that I've been dealt?
I'll try to win her once again.

You have raised her.
I just simply choose.
But I love her
And I don't know what to do.

How does it feel to be the one to tuck her in at night?
And to hear her say she loves you just as you turn out the light?
And when you walk out of that door, how does it feel to know she's yours?
You do know I'm what's best for her, but away from me she runs.
When it is all said and done,

How does it feel to be the one to tuck her in at night?
To hear her say she loves you just as you turn out the light?
And when you walk out of that bedroom door, how does it feel to know she's yours?
And despite the fact I'm best for her, away from me she runs.
And now that it's all said and done, how does it feel to be the one?

How does it feel to be the one?
How does it feel to be the one?
How does it feel to be the one?

Lightning

Written By: Chris Fazio

I want you close, but you feel so far
And as I'm without you, I’m tearing apart
I wanna have you by my side before I fade away
I running low on you, I know you always have the words to say

I’ll save you for a rainy day…
I’ll save you for a rainy day…

Lightning is what you are
You are so close, but you feel so far
Lightning is what you are
If I get too close, you might just strike me down
Lightning, it’s what you’re all about

In the pouring rain we see everyday
That it’s where you leave me when you walk away
But I know it won’t be long until I see you again
‘Cause when I walk, you’ll come down from the clouds and strike me down

I’ll save you for a rainy day…
I’ll save you for a rainy day…

Lightning is what you are
You are so close, but you feel so far
Lightning is what you are
If I get too close, you might just strike me down
Lightning, it’s what you’re all about

Lightning (it’s what you’re all about)
Lightning…
(Lightning, it’s what you’re all about)

I’ll save you for a rainy day…
I’ll save you for a rainy day…

(Instrumental Interlude)

A silent killer hiding in the night
Ready to strike at any time
Don’t be afraid when hear the thunder crashing now and then
It’s just the lightning; she is breaking my heart again

(Chorus) x2

Lightning (It’s what you’re all about)
Lightning (It’s what you’re all about)
Lightning (I’ll save you for a rainy day)
Lightning…
Lightning, it’s what you’re all about

The Time of Transformation

Written By: Chris Fazio

A man who had it all saw his replication fade
And turned his life into a journey that would escape that fate
The world fought for a girl and on the road of life, God turned the wheel
And as men discussed the game of love, we strived for the ideal

A girl from long ago suppressed and misunderstood
And at the brink of death, she saw the world the way it should
Her own interpretation was of the things that mattered most
Viewed alongside Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

(Chorus)
And we try looking back but there is no end in sight
And unbeknownst to us, they made an art from their own lives
It’s the time of transformation
The times that show that we’re not far apart
And we tried looking back to a world so far away
Love was all around them, where has it been these days?
It’s the time of transformation
The times that showed us who we really are

And the spiritual world diminishes ours in size
To no more than a hazelnut floating in the skies
And right by His side, she was shown the evil we’ve become
But that it was a part of us we can’t control; it won’t matter in His kingdom

And she saw our Savior there in front of her on the cross
And how our insistence on a victory meant He had to take the loss
But we are sitting in our Mother’s arms, over death He had just won
Father, Spirit, Son. Mother, Father, one.

(Chorus)

She returned to the Earth after her revelations’ end
And reflected on her thoughts and in 20 years, she did again
This journey that we all are on allows us to grow and change
And a million years away, I wrote my life onto the page

(Chorus)

It’s the time of transformation
The times that show us who we really are
Who we really are…
