Oakland, California own Chris Fields b.k.a. Fro has been making moves all over the Bay Area and throughout Southern California. Chris has also blessed other states such as Atlanta, New York, and even his hometown Alabama just to name a few. Chris's new style of Gospel music with a touch of Soul is breaking new ground in the gospel industry. Chris is a well rounded and dedicated artist who was born in Montgomery, Alabama and now lives in Oakland, California. Chris has performed in numerous events such as the Alameda County Fair, Black Expo, Gospel Explosion, Juneteenth Festival, Mr Es (Sheila Es Father Jazz Club), The Concord Pavilion with Chill E.B. with the California Symphony, BMI Gavin Session I, U.S. Olympic Trials (national televised on NBC televison), Concord Waterworld USA, Gospel House of Soul, Gospel Cruise on The Bay and many more. Chris has also won talent shows such as the Contra Costa County Talent Show (won 1st place), Reigning Dejavu Champion (KMEL Radio), Best Male Vocalist ( Won castleers). Chris also been nominated for best male soloist for Ensound Radio. Chris is the reigning Dejavu singing champion with the late Rick Chase (DJ) of KMEL (SF) Radio, and was considered by many the top unsigned vocalist in the Bay Area which led Chris to open for the group MOKENSTEF. Chris is also a guest vocalist on a compilation album titled Crying For Love off of chump change records. Chris's song Show Me was pick for the single release and video cut which was shot at Hollywood High School in Los Angeles California. Chris has also shared the stage with great artists such as Tyrese, Sheila E, Rosie Gaines, Immature, Mokenstef, Daryl Coley, and the list goes on. Singing since the age of six Chris has been working with top well known producers in the music industry such as Narada Michael Walden, Norman Conners, and Kenny Taylor. Chris has been co-writing and co-producing hit songs while learning what it takes to be a successful and long standing artist in the music industry today. Chris release his first single Teardrops and music video when he was signed to 2-Cali Records (indie label). Now a born again Christian Chris wants to use his talents he was blessed with the right way. In his heart Chris knew that this is what God wanted him to do and use his talents to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through his music. Chris released his first gospel cd project titled SAVED off his label Gospel Soul Records which he is the CEO and artist. Chris first cd project is a testimony of how God Saved him from all the mistakes, heartache and how he created him new. Chris is an anointed artist when come to praise and worship through music.
