Bio
Born in Japan but raised in Hawaii, Chris Formanek started making electronic music in the backdrop of backwards USA. He studied classical piano at a young age, but stopped immediately after listening to an old Bill Evans album. By utilizing live instruments and his love for composition, hip hop beats, and synthesizers, he creates a futuristic hybrid of styles and sounds you wouldn't expect to hear from a tiny island.
