Bio
My name is Chris Freeman, and I’m a comedian.
I grew up in the theater department at Occidental College in Los Angeles with a very funny father from whom I learned early on how to hold a room by making people laugh. I’ve been acting on stage since the age of five, and I’ve been funny since I can remember. The only reason that I didn’t get in trouble for disrupting class in high school was that the teachers were laughing as hard as anybody else.
I’m a comedian, actor, cowboy, & tallguy.
At the age of fourteen, I began spending summers working as a wrangler, horse trainer, & trail guide for Sprucedale Ranch in the Arizona mountains. In high school I was all-league in track and basketball, I played basketball for Occidental College, and coached high-school basketball for five years.
Speaking of college,I have theater degrees pending at three separate higher-learning institutions: Occidental College, The University of Evansville, and the California Institute of the Arts. (Graduation is for suckers)
As an actor I’ve appeared on ER, NUMBERS, NYPD Blue, Malcom in the Middle, and Star Trek: Enterprise, to name a few.
As a comedian, I’ve played The Improv, The Comedy Store, & The Laugh Factory, in L.A., The Oasis Casino, & Casa Blanca Resort, in Nevada, and, last August, I headlined a tour of military bases in the Middle East that went through Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Djibouti (Africa), and the USS Enterprise and Gettysburg in the Persian Gulf.
