Lyrics

I Didn't Know

Written By: Chris Hamilton

You shouldn't draw pictures on the wall - I didn't know
You shouldn't wear pajamas to the mall - I didn't know
You shouldn't put lipstick on your cat
You shouldn't tell your grandma that she's fat
You shouldn't do this, you shouldn't do that - I didn't know!

You shouldn't splash water out of the tub – I didn’t know
You shouldn't put jam on before the toast is done – I didn’t know
You shouldn’t wipe your hands on your clothes
You shouldn't drink water from your dog’s bowl
You shouldn't pick any nose but your own – I didn’t know!

Chorus:
No I didn't know (I didn't, I didn't kno-ow)
What to do, what to say, where to go
No I didn't know (I didn't, I didn't kno-ow)
How to act, how to behave, how things are s'possed to go!

You shouldn't smear pudding all over your face - I didn't know
You shouldn't throw spaghetti all over the place - I didn't know
You shouldn't ride a skateboard in the house
You shouldn't hide broccoli under the couch
And a toothbrush should only go in your mouth! I didn't know!

Chorus:

You shouldn't try to cut your own hair - I didn't know
You shouldn't microwave your underwear - I didn't know
You shouldn't put bubble gum up your nose
You shouldn't run outside without your clothes
No matter what, don't eat yellow snow! I didn't know!

Last chorus:
No I didn't know (I didn't, I didn't kno-ow)
What to do, what to say, where to go
No I didn't know (I didn't, I didn't kno-ow)
How to act, how to behave, how things are s'possed to go!

No I didn't know (I didn't, I didn't kno-ow)
What to do, what to say, where to go
No I didn't know (I didn't, I didn't kno-ow)
How to act, how to behave, how things are s'possed to go!
Cuz nobody tells me so
But now I think I know!

Boogie Child

Written By: Chris Hamilton

I get this feeling when there's music in the air
I know I gotta move, gotta get up off my chair
The rhythm gets me, the bass hits my soul
I can't sit still man, I gotta rock & roll
When that music's playing I feel the thumping of the beat
That's when I gotta dance, I got to move my feet

Chorus:
I'm a boogie child
dancing to the rhythm
moving and a'grooving
Every night and day
I'm a boogie child
dancing to the rhythm
moving to the music
in my very own way

When I am dancing,
I don't really care
if other people watch me or if they point and stare
'Cuz when that music's playing I feel the thumping of the beat
That's when I gotta dance, I got to move my feet

Chorus

Chant:
Hey Hey! Boogie Child, get on up and dance!

So dance with me if you like, dance your own moves
Together we can dance it up and share this funky groove
'Cuz when the music's playing we feel the thumping of the beat
That's when it's time to dance, time to move our feet

Chorus

Mamma's In the Minivan

Written By: Chris Hamilton

Well it's time to get to school, it's time to go
Everybody's gotta get out the door
Brush your teeth and comb your hair
No time to waste, no time to spare
Mamma's in the Minivan, let's get moving on

Chorus:
Mamma's in the Minivan, let's get moving on
Mamma's in the Minivan, let's get moving on
Mamma's in the Minivan, let's get moving
With the radio on she’s really grooving
Mamma's in the Minivan, let's get moving on

When school is all over we gotta run
Got practice today and it's gonna be fun
We got half an hour to get across town
Mamma doesn't have time to slow down
Mamma's in the Minivan, let's get moving on

Chorus

We're heading home when the sun is going down
Mamma's been driving us all over town
We're back at home where our journey began
Tomorrow we'll do it all over again
Mamma's in the Minivan, let's get moving on

Chorus
