Lyrics

Land of the Free

Written By: Chris Harbem BMI

Land of the Free

Around the world
Across the sea
Down the block, America
Means to be free
Where everybody is somebody
At least where they can be
King of their own castle
With no hassle from nobody

(chorus)
Land of the free
America, that’s where I be
Where the eagles fly
Where the black man sings
Where Uncle Sam he lies
That’s just the way things be
Land of the free
America, that’s where I be

A rolling stone
At pleasures peak
Knows there’s danger
Down in valleys
Why roll into danger
Why kneel in defeat
People need salvation
People need to speak

(chorus)
Land of the free
America, that’s where I be
Where the eagles fly
Where folks start their dreams
Where the strong men brawl
And the businessmen scheme
Land of the free
America, that’s where I be

(bridge)
Round where
Green grass runs down to the ocean
Some where
Near the rainbow
Out there
Where the world is more than where you come from
Some where
Where I can get me some of the

Land of the free
America, that’s where I be

When You’re Here

Written By: Chris Harbem & Joe Kirkland

When You're Here

I can’t find the words to say
I don’t they exist
I’ve never felt this way
I don’t know what to make of this

You’re so beautiful tonight
You’re so beautiful
Every time I lay eyes on you
So beautiful tonight
You’re so beautiful
And all I know is that

(chorus)
When you’re here
You make me smile
When you’re here
You make me fly
Up here
Girl I never thought in
A million years I’d
Find you

The way my hand fits yours
Tells me your mine
And I don’t deserve
Your precious time

You’re so beautiful tonight
You’re so beautiful
Every time I lay eyes on you
So beautiful tonight
You’re so beautiful
And all I know is that

(chorus)
When you’re here
You make me smile
When you’re here
You make me fly
Up here
Girl I never thought in
A million years I’d
Find you

(bridge)
While I don’t understand
Some things about life
You opened my eyes
So I can see light
And though I’ve been around in this world
As much as I’ve been down in this world
I still understand
The world

When you’re here
You make me smile
When you’re here
You make me fly

Up here
Oh yeah

Beautiful tonight
You’re so beautiful every time I lay eyes on you
You’re beautiful tonight
You’re so beautiful tonight

Beautiful you are
Tonight
