Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
With all the classic influences including: The Who, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, (add at nauseam) to the more contemporary, my music continues to evolve and is just beginning to hit it’s stride. I grew up in Salem, OR a town in which the only thing going for it is it’s proximity to coast and mountains. An avid surfer (yes they exist in Oregon), I have spent an inordinate amount of time at the coast and I have been told it is evident in my music. Taking a traditional route I went to college and got a B.S. in Chemistry and a Masters in Oceanography, and only recently have I begun to chase music as a career. However, I had been playing shows as a stress reliever throughout my time at the University, and the transition has been very natural. I am currently working on my first album, Nearshore, and as an unsigned, largely unknown artist, I am enjoying my anonymity and freedom.
