"THE BEAT MAGAZINE VOL.24 #6"

Chrisinti established with some solid 7' releases out of Jamaica and his debut cd was a credible entry a couple of years back. AGAIN (Eight76) shows this contemporary roots singer in fine form. Chrisinti stretches out a little with a couple of semi-acapella cuts and some love songs. He gets in his best shots with songs like "Village Ghettoland", "Ruff Ride", and "Song of Praise" that balance a skeptical world view with a postivie vibe. Chrisinti is one of the best of today's roots singers - Chuck Foster

"Vibing IN SOUTH FLORIDA"

The Empire night club was the setting for the recently held album release party for Eight76 Records recording artistes, Evette and Chrsintii. The capacity crowd was treated to lively performacnes from both artists. "AGAIN" is Chrisinti's sophomore album, following his critically acclaimed "Comfort My People" from 2002. He brought the house down with is 45 minute show that included hits from both albums. When he went into his current chart hit "Oh Sheila", which he had to sing over several times when the crowd demanded "pull-up!" - X News/ July 6 2005

Bio

Blessed with a voice reminiscent of raw silk, Chrisinti delivers songs in a smooth, confident manner that commands the listener's attention. His way of conveying the raw emotion of a lyric, whether romantic, spiritual, or political has garnered comparisons to iconic artists from Dennis Brown to Sam Cooke to the late great Marvin Gaye.
Today, as reggae enjoys a renaissance of young conscious artists and producers like I-Wayne, Richie Spice, and YahBreeze, Chrisinti is definitely a sign of his times. Heavily influenced by the faith he embraced in 1995, Chrisiniti is uncompromising in saying, “Rastafari is everything to my music, and through this medium I have gained all my inspiration.”

Born Paul Christopher Hudson in a place called Drewsland (a humble neighborhood on the outskirts of Kingston), Chrisinti, as he is now called (a name taken on by himself and given meaning “Selassi I Child”) had early dreams of becoming a star. Chrisinti participated in school fetes and concerts in his community from the age of 6 right through high school.

After graduation, he began to travel from studio to studio hoping to catch the ear of a producer. His first real opportunity came from Richard Bell who produced his first recording entitled “Aware of Drugs” for Star Trail Recording Label. Chrisinti was now on his way to realizing his dream. One day during a session at the Mixing Lab in Kingston, a stranger came into the studio. When the session was over he was asked to join this person who turned out to be the president of Kings of Kings Recording Company, Iley Dread. Chrisinti was signed to the company and began to record songs such as “False Hype” a combination with Jah Mason, and “Shine Your Light” another combination with Louie Culture. In 2003, Kings of Kings released his debut album entitled Comfort My People. This album featuring the popular cover “No More Rain” heralded the entrance of young artiste set to make a difference in reggae music.

This well-loved artist released his highly anticipated sophomore CD, …Again (Eight76 Records) in June 2005. Again was produced by Chrisinti and Eight76’s Kenroy “YahBreeze” Archibald. The first single “Oh Sheila” has proven to be his biggest chart success to date, climbing to #2 on the X-News South Florida Reggae Singles chart; reaching the Top Ten on the New York Reggae Singles Chart and the Top Five in Jamaica. The new single, “Runnings Run”, and its video were released in SUMMER OF 2006.
He is also very appreciative of the important role the music loving supporters have played in his career and looks forward to continued support from his old fans and the new fans to come as he strives for bigger and brighter success. This cultural music messenger is poised to take music to the four corners of the world and uplift the minds and hearts of many.
