Chris Jamison

Chris Jamison is a soulful pop troubadour, heralding a unique collection of original songs that express an optimistic love for life and lend themselves to a wide range of musical sounds and audiences. His smooth, serenading voice has inevitably been compared to Jack Johnson and Martin Sexton while the composition and arrangement of his music reveal influences from such diverse sources as the Beatles, Van Morrison, Rickie Lee Jones, classic rock and Motown music. Inherent harmonies and infectious polyrhythmic grooves are signature of Jamison’s dynamic songwriting style and versatility.

Jamison first emerged as a performer at age fifteen with the child prodigy band “Love Minus Zero.” Playing the New England club circuit, he had the honor of opening for national acts such as Four Non-Blondes, The Connells, and Juliana Hatfield’s band The Blake Babies.

His passion for music has taken him to both sides of stage and studio production. He has worked behind the scenes for headliners of all genres: from John Prine to Metallica to Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Having steeped himself in every aspect of music production, Chris Jamison is now infusing his assembly of original tunes with his arsenal of stage and studio experience to launch an explosive reemergence into the pop music universe.
