Born in Texas, raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and coming of age in London, Chris Jamison, a 22 year old singer/songwriter, has had a unique upbringing that is clearly reflected in his sound. It was in London that, under the guidance of a few very patient friends, Chris began playing guitar and first started writing and performing his own songs.
Chris has called Charlottesville, Virginia his home for the last four years as a student at the University of Virginia. Playing all over the city and the surrounding areas he has been working to build up a strong fan base that spans all groups of people young and old alike. Chris and Micah Berry first came together in October of 2005 during the recording of Chris' "Indian Summer" album. Recorded and mixed at Guestroom Studio by Micah Berry and Jason Way, "Indian Summer" features Chris' gripping verse and Micah Berry's shinning lead guitar work. After making the CD the two young musicians began to write songs together and play shows all over the area. This summer marks the duo's first American tour something their hard work, and burning desire to perform will surely have them ready for.
