Bio
I am a singer, song writer, guitarist, piano player from Australia now living in Paris. My first major influences came from Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix, that was then enhanced with a strong passion for Australian rock & roll bands like Midnight Oil, AC/DC and Cold Chisel etc. I then discovered the blues of John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters and SRV. That is all the main foundation of my style, and I have been working mostly in bars for the last thirty years playing my own blues/rock songs either with my band, Moonray & The Bitch, or with Sal Bernardi, Melissa Cox or Yasmin Shah. Since living in Paris I have been the opening-act for Jeff Beck at the Olympia, Peter Green at La Cigale, Zucherro at the Zenith and Tommy Emmanuel at New Morning.
