Biography

Chris Lee is...
Acoustic Ameri-FolkRock-Cana! played by One Man with One Heart, & a lotta Soul!

Chris plays from the heart which is evident in his voice. His songs play to people from different generations, while maintaining a unique essence.

Chris was vocally trained for years by both old school behind-the-piano type teachers to more progressive alternative vocal instructors. He found his own voice in writing his own material after being in bands throughout his earlier years. Some of his earlier performances included opening for bands such as Extreme, LA Guns and Blue Oyster Cult to mention a few. His performances now are a little more laid back while his presence is still strong.

Currently Chris is busy finding ways to take his heart & soul pre-production tracks, and put them into Clean Finalized songs for the CD "Still Diggin' the Mystery". He gets ready to go into the studio in 2011, which will be another story altogether.

Chris' influences are far too many to count. It ranges from early jazz stylings to Rock and everything in-between. It includes Acoustic greats like Cat Stevens and then turns sharp and moves towards current music like Chad Kroger with Nickleback, then turns again into The Black Eyed Peas & Prince. Put simply, Chris likes it all. With all the different music he listens to, it's no wonder why it's hard to compare it to anyone else. He manages to blend his guitar style with his deep soulful voice seamlessly creating his own style. From the lyrics and voice, to the guitar and the songwriting, you honestly know it's Chris.

Chris has been singing in bands since he was 14. He enjoys playing and sharing the music. He truly is "Still Diggin' the Mystery".

Still Water Runs

Written By: Chris Lee aka Gypsy

Still Water Runs

It’s time today - To choose
I know we’ll be ok - No matter what we do
I’m not afraid of change – Or even losing you
So don’t ask me to stay here, with u

Because With U - Still Water runs
With U – I’m in love
With U – It’s never enough
With U – still water runs

It’s every day - That I’m thinkin’ of you
I don’t think I’m ever sure, Of the things I do
But I know one thing, How I feel about you
And I won’t regret my life for ever being with you

Dream Come True

Dream Come True

It may not seem like much to some, That's alright with me
A simple man is who I am, you know There Isn't that much I need... to be

Whenever I doubt myself or the life I choose
I look out and see a different point of view
Mountains and desert stretchin’ out so far
sometimes you wonder where you are
While the dream comes true

I used to live in a world so fast
(part2 - livin’ to fast about to crash, and now I)
Now I live just so
Simple has brought me peace of mind
And a better flow… and this I know

Whenever I doubt myself or the life I choose
I look out and see a different point of view
Mountains and desert stretchin’ out so far
sometimes you wonder where you are
While the dream comes true
And I say
Whenever I doubt myself and the life I live
Rivers and Vistas, will always clear my head
A vision this beautiful stretchin’ out so far
Heaven on Earth is always where I’m led
Whenever I doubt myself or the life I live (repeats)
I look out and see the gift, of a dream come true
Whenever I doubt myself or the life I’ve lived
