There’s just something about that tingle you feel when someone mentions Prince, Lenny Kravitz, and Erykah Badu in the same sentence.
Legends in their own right spawning their unique style of flavor and funk, these artists set shock and awe at a new level. And while they haven’t knowingly worked together exclusively, they on the verge witnessing a product of their creation.
Citing the previous trio as major influences, this soul driven, guitar shredding, rhythmic monster known as Chris Lightfoot is primed and ready to show the world his unique sound and vibe just as his idols before him did. Coming out of Burbank, Ca, Chris began to hone his musical skills throughout grade school on guitar and vocals and also contributed his acting skills to theater and film. Upon graduation, Lightfoot hit the music scene full force playing guitar for numerous young artists, and soon became the percussion player of Mercury/Def Jam Artist John West. Continuing with John West, he has also lent he skills to Interscope artist Tamar Kaprelian, Atlantic artist Hope and many others. During this time Chris began work on an album of his own. In the early summer of 2010 the “Sonic High” EP was released and garnered a lot of attention to his solo endeavors. Riding off that success Chris is due to put out his second EP “NOW” which is due out in early November.
