Guitarist,composer.singer,producer of fine recordings, viking oarsman. Released 5 albums. Produced and played on many more. Former staff writer for warner/chappel publishing, part time instructor at Berklee college of music(guitar,theory),toured as sideman to many blues greats Eddie Kirkland, Carrie Bell, Nappy Brown,Zorah Young, Marva Wright, Toni Lynn Washington among others, as band leader played extensively all over the globe for the past 25 yrs. Worked with some of the biggest names in jazz as sidemen-Rakalaam Bob Moses, Matthew Garrison, John Lockwood,Bernard Purdie, Clyde Stubblefield, many more. Shared the stage with Pete Townsend, Nora Jones, BB King, Wycleff Jean, Dr John, Johnny Winter,G Love, many more. Played the emerging artists stage at Woodstock '99. Currently playing more and more acoustic style guitar showcasing talents for masterful composition, guitar technique, and a rhythmic wild ride.

I am playing clubs and concerts to an audience which hungers for an immediate connection to the moment and a musical conversation between great musicians with a massive vocabulary. I am offering a musical story that will take them through all the levels of the human experience not just the earthbound hues of blues and funk which I love so dearly. As well as all my American influences I am also freely drawing upon my love of Bartok, Gipsy music, Sufi music, Beethoven, Flamenco, and the great improvisational traditions. My life has been dedicated to mastering my instrument like never before and I’m set on keeping my musical voice in the foreground."
