Bio
I am Chris McGreevy. Born and raised in Cumnor, Oxford, I moved to Sweden at a very early age and lived there for 18 years, after which I moved to Scarborough, England, to go to university. Picking up my first instrument at the age of 6, the passion for music found its' way in to my life early on, and I've loved it ever since. I wrote and released my first EP at the age of 18, and my first album at the age of 20. Since then I've been playing shows all over Sweden and England, sharing stages with artists such as I'm From Barcelona, Flute of Shame, Adam Gardner and Club Smith.
My music is influenced by a great deal of things, not only other artists. Situations in life, situations in the world, religion. When it comes to musical influences, I draw inspiration from many different genres and artists, such as City and Colour, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie and many others.
People should see me because I offer a good, fun and enjoyable live show, with some elements to it that they might not expect from a singer/songwriter. I get people going, make them join in and basically give everyone a massive, musical hug!
