Chris Mowery

Chris Mowery is not a musician by trade. He is, first and foremost, a child of God. After that, he's a husband to his wife Tara, a father to Rachel and Caleb, and youth minister at Four Mile Run Christian Church in Youngstown, OH.

Having said all that, Chris is excited to be used by God through his music ministry in every way possible. His debut record, Beautiful Cross, released in June, 2010. In support of this release, Chris has played at a variety of venues this past year, including Faith Night with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in Niles, OH, as well as various churches, camps, and cafes.

Right now, Chris is in the studio working on his 2nd release, You Are God Alone, in which he takes his writing and instrumentation to the next level, with songs that explore worship, joy, being a dad, experiencing loss, and knowing who our amazing God really is.

Musically, he is inspired by great Christian artists such as Brandon Heath, Aaron Shust, Bebo Norman, and Steven Curtis Chapman. He plays solo acoustic shows as well as with his band, and enjoys serving the Lord and His church however possible.

We are actively booking shows for Chris and his band for 2012. Already on the schedule is a third trip to Eastwood Field for Faith Night with the Scrappers, and a number of church and youth events throughout Ohio and beyond. We would love to work with you to make your event happen.
