"Unity Church of Practical Christianity, New Braunfels, TX"

"Chris Pfeiffer is always a most welcome guest performer at our services. He brings with him not only a velvet voice and rich guitar accompaniment, but also a free flowing spirit that captivates, touches and inspires. I could FEEL his music as well as hear it!"

"Unity by the Sea, Corpus Christi, TX"

“An artist's craft is an extension of himself. I found Chris Pfeiffer to be genuine, sensitive, creative, and passionate about his work in music. Chris' skillful mastery of technique and beautiful lyrics easily reach the listening ear. He's a joy to be around and his music and message are gifts he lovingly delivers.” - Sylvia C. Westrup, Music Director

"Unity Church of San Antonio, TX"

“Chris Pfeiffer has the ability to sing what he knows to be true straight into the hearts of his audience. He uses poetic imagery to convey a universal message. His guitar playing can both tenderly support the most sensitive song and powerfully drive home a strong lyric. In concert, he weaves his stories and songs together so skillfully that the impact of both is enhanced. With lyrics that are visual and thought provoking, the music will reach your spirit in a calm peaceful place as it brings meaning to your world with depth.”

- Dana Clark, Music Director

"Unity Church of Practical Christianity, New Braunfels, TX"

“The pleasing nuances of Chris' voice and guitar accompaniments, like a thief in the night, will steal you away, suddenly, unexpectedly to a higher place. You won't want to come back. You may not come back. This sort of thing could change the world.” - Janet O'Connor, Music Director

Bio

"life" is the song, "perfect it is, simply in the way that it's not"- “we keep growing on”- (definition '04).

my 4th grade class in san marcos, tx. was cast in the 1972 film, "the getaway" with steve mqueen and ali mcgraw. i was paid enough ($15) to purchase from our local music store (western auto!) my first guitar. having written poems and lyrics, inspired by bernie taupin since i was 9, and influenced by the melodies of elton john and the guitar/song subtleties of james taylor, there began the musical path in to this life.

"life" is the song, and oh how we try and explain it, when it is best to let it, "life" explain it to us. "magic in the moon"- (light...life...love '07), tells us that we've only scratched the surface and the mystery of "it" all remains... untouched.

"life" is the song, as in "back to school"- (light...life...love '07), standing witness to the eldest of three daughters being taken away by the ever racing clock of impatience... seamless dates, overlapping time lines, proof that the tears of joy run hand in hand with their closest sibling, sorrow.

"life" is the song, and so much of it is all around us, there and yet “unseen, often heard, inside, should we learn, to be still, let it blow, listen, let go.” “the way of the wind”- (definition ’04)

i'm chris pfeiffer. thank you listening.
