Bio
Chris Ray and Elle Bijet (Pronounced L-Bee-Zjay) met in June of 2009 at Nashville's famous Bluebird Cafe, during an open mic night. After initially becoming friends, the pair started dating after writing their first song together (Better on the Inside). Since getting married in the summer of 2011, the couple has continued to make better music, play out, and meet people in Nashville and beyond.
Their unique sound blends many different genres of music, such as Elle's jazz-inspired vocals, soaring male/female harmonies, and Chris' percussive finger-style acoustic guitar. Playing live is one of Chris and Elle's passions, and listeners of any age will appreciate the intricate dynamics of the music and show.
