Since he was six, listening to his parents Bill Cosby records, Chris Roberts has wanted to make people laugh. Then, after a long public/high school school career, the realization that hed never win a Stanley Cup, turn downs from many universities, and a long line of menial task jobs, Chris decided to pursue comedy.
Chris got his start at Humber College, in 2009. He was lucky enough to do his first set at the world famous Yuk Yuks, in Toronto. Since then hes competed in the Great Canadian Laugh Off, Showcased for Mark Breslin, Performed on an NBA comics show at a sold out Second City, was nominated for last years Fresh Meat, and has been seen quite regularly at Absolute Comedys Pro/Am night in Toronto.
Now, in 2013, Chris has already performed at the CCAs live taping showcase, where he graced the stage with some of Canadas top Comedians. With that early gem of a show, he hopes 2013 continues with the trend the previous four years have shown, with every year being better than the last, and his parents still wondering when hes going to get paid.
